The 101 Drive-In was (big surprise!) a drive-in movie theater off of Highway 101, in San Rafael California, down the Lucas Valley Road exit. I lived in a trailer park behind the 101 Drive-In from 1975 to 1978, dreaming about life as it would be one day. The trailer park is still there, the drive-in has been razed and is now an indoor multiplex, and I'm long gone elsewhere. As long as I get to watch movies, I'm happy.
